How It Works

Laser energy from our proven CUTERA® 1064 Nd:YAG laser equipment has the capability of coagulating the hemoglobin molecule, thus allowing the body to absorb the vein. The wavelength of this safe treatment does not result in pigment change or skin irritation.

The Procedure

The exact approach is determined after an initial consultation with Dr. Foxx in Southern California. Spider vein treatment is performed after a skin-numbing cream is used to minimize discomfort. Following the treatment there is usually no downtime and patients can return to their daily routine without interruption. More than one treatment may be necessary depending upon the number, size, and color of the veins.
