Good skin products are the final indispensable ingredients for healthy, beautiful, and radiant skin. Without them, all the careful evaluations and well-performed treatments come to naught. At The Medical and Skin Spa we refer to them as cosmeceuticals, pharmaceutical-grade products available only by prescription or in a medical office.

We do not offer our cosmeceuticals for sale on our website. Our belief is that a consultation with one of our skin health experts is necessary before the right product can be selected from the many available.

The products we recommend for at-home use are drawn from SkinMedica, our esteemed colleague Kate Somerville, BioMedic, and Glytone.  Our own product line, Doctor Foxx Skin, is in the final evaluation stages and will be released shortly.  Derived from effective, natural ingredients, Doctor Foxx Skin is so fresh we will be dispensing it from a special climate controlled storage area.

LATISSE® is an FDA-approved prescription treatment developed for growing eyelashes that makes them longer, thicker, fuller, and darker. Applied to the upper eyelash line daily at bedtime, LATISSE works from the inside by affecting the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle to increase the length of this phase and the number of hairs that form during the phase.

Most of our LATISSE users in Southern California begin to see results in seven to eight weeks with full results visible at 12 to 16 weeks.

The Professional Skin Care Difference

We believe that at least half the the results you will achieve with your skin will come from your conscientious use of good products.  Before you leave the office, you will be given a written recommendation that we call a SkinScription that will draw from one or more of the medical-grade product lines.  This will set out your at-home program in comprehensive detail. A copy will be kept in your chart in the office.
